Sandy's dad, brother and sister-in-law biked in across the continent in 2008 with Sea to Sea. Dave was also on the same route. While Dave T didn't know Dave M and Liz to well they grew to be friends and spent many days biking together.

Afterwards Liz notice that Dave and Sandy had a lot of similar interests and personalities so she had them meet up. So they met at Bigby for coffee one night and then went from there!
